The retractable curtain separating Stage 3 from the rest of the soundstage allows for productions to set up a construction mill, a still photo unit, stunt rehearsals, or wardrobe fittings separately from the rest of the action. This space also hosts the Visionaries program as part of the Entertainment Workforce Coalition - a workforce development program in partnership with IATSE, Oregon Film, and Mt. Hood Community College. Standing sets are built by union professionals with apprentices training in specific crafts for the entertainment industry. MHCC also offers an alternative construction mill just 2 minutes up the street for productions wanting to film in Stage 3. Be sure to inquire about what standing sets are available for rental.
